Accredited test laboratory

The test laboratory specialising in connection technology is accredited for more than 50 standard test procedures in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and serves as an official independent testing centre. With an area of 800 square metres, it is equipped with latest test devices, which together with qualified employees and end-to-end quality management offer optimum conditions for reliable test results.

New in our laboratory Scanning electron microscope

A scanning electron microscope has been recently added in our test laboratory. With magnifications of up to 30,000x and resolutions of up to 3nm, we can now identify even the smallest structures.

A high quality standard can only be established permanently by working together with reliable partners in procurement. That is why Würth Industry has established an international network of supplier auditors that - in close coordination with the Würth Group - systematically audits the suppliers of critical fasteners, thus contributing in their development.

In addition to the systematic analysis of quality risks, the network also addresses general risks related to environmental hazards, occupational safety and compliance with social standards.

Delivery quality through initial sample testing (PPF)

In order to avoid errors before the start of the series and to check whether a product meets all the agreed requirements, Würth Industry offers initial samples of customer-specific products. Apart from sampling according to Würth standards, sampling according to VDA volume 2/5th edition (PPF procedure) and sampling according to AIAG “formerly QS 9000” (current PPAP issue) is possible.

In addition to the process documentation generally required, all types of sampling can be supplemented by product-specific tests, where possible, at customer’s request.

We consider quality management as a holistic and process-oriented approach. We can achieve convincing quality standards in all areas only if the entire organisation is focused on continuously improving its processes, services and products.

This is why we have established an Integrated Management System (IMS), which is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001. The sustainable implementation and further development of IMS ensures that our products and services are continuously improved.
